Rick Hansen
Rick Hansen is a famous Canadian philanthropist working for people with disabilities. He is also a well known Paralympic advocate. Born on August 26 1957, Hansen grew up with a passion for fishing and sports. At the age of 15, a tragic truck accident left him unable to walk again. With this life changing event, Rick began to discover and learn more about disabled people. With his hard work and determination, he launched the Rich Hansen Foundation and accomplished many goals for the disabled.
